Sonu Nigam to perform in city
Mysore, Oct. 1 (DN&MDS)- The heart-throb of millions and the co-untry's singing sensation, Sonu Nigam is all set to enthral Mysoreans in a musical evening to be held at the Chamundi Vihar Stadium on Oct. 11 at 6 pm.
Disclosing this at a function organised at Devaraj Urs Wrestling Arena here yesterday to release the Dasara wrestling hand bills, the District In-charge Minister Tanveer Sait said the stage for the musical programme will be arranged with special lighting equipment and the orga-niser, Yuva Dasara Sub-Committee, is spending Rs. 16 lakh for the event.
He said the Sub-Committee's President A.K. Singh, who is also the Deputy Conservator of Forests, has already held talks with Sonu Nigam and the singer is being paid Rs. 8 lakh as appearance fee.
